Who should apply?

Anyone over 16 years of age who is looking for an introduction into understanding how to tackle waste, and who has an interest in developing their own personal skills for independent living.

What will I learn?

You will learn:

• How to sort rubbish
• What can be reused, repaired or donated
• How to identify if something can be easily repaired
• How to maintain electrical items and furniture
• How to complete simple repairs

How long will it take?
 

The course will run over 15 weekly sessions of 2 hours.

It comprises of:

• 10 Hours of theory
• 10 Hours of practical
• 10 Hours of assessment
